Go, or no‑go.One glance tells you whether today is your day on the water.
Breezie reads the wind, waves, tides and the world's best forecast models, then gives one clear verdict for the way you use the coast.
Fifty forecast numbers, boiled down to one honest answer.
Every other app hands you a wall of figures and lets you do the maths. Breezie already knows the limits for each activity, so it just tells you where today stands.
Go
Conditions are in the sweet spot. Grab your board, your kite, your drone. Today's the day.
Caution
Doable, but there's a catch worth knowing: a gusty spread, choppy sea, or wind blowing off the shore.
No-go
Not today. Breezie says so plainly and tells you the next window that looks better.
One spot, every way you play on it.
The same forecast means different things to a paddler, a kite flyer and a drone pilot. Breezie judges each on its own terms.
Beach
Warm, calm and sunny enough for the sunbed? Temperature, UV, wind and cloud, rolled into a lounging verdict.
Terrace
Nice enough to sit outside? Breezie weighs temperature, wind, sun and rain into a simple terrace verdict for the balcony or the beach bar.
SUP
Paddleboard-friendly water: waves, swell period and the wind direction, with a plain warning when the breeze is offshore. Paddle thresholds are informed by RNLI safety guidance.
Kite
Enough wind to fly, not so much you can't hold it. Breezie watches the gust spread that makes a kite tricky.
Drone
DJI-Mini-class wind limits, wind aloft and rain risk, so you know before you unfold the props, not after.
Golden hour
Computed on-device with the NOAA solar algorithm: first light, golden hour, sunset, blue hour, and whether tonight's sky will actually deliver.
Nine forecast models. Pick one, or let Breezie choose.
From the European Centre's global model to a 2 km regional model that resolves local sea breezes. Switch between them, or leave it on automatic and let Breezie blend the best for your spot.
And when you want every number, it's right there.
Verdicts keep it simple. Tap into a spot and Breezie opens the full hourly table: wind, gusts, temperature, rain and, at the coast, swell, period and tide, colour-coded across the day. Switch models, flip to hourly, or recolour it for the activity you have in mind.
Catch the light, not just the wind.
A full sun dashboard for every spot: first light, golden hour, sunset and blue hour, so you can plan the walk on the beach for exactly when the sky turns gold.
Your spots, followed
Search anywhere in the world, save your favourites, and every activity tab follows the spot you pick, with live wind right on the card.
Alerts that respect you
Turn on a nudge only for what you care about (a perfect kite breeze, a calm SUP morning), each one switchable on its own.
Six languages
Breezie speaks English, Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian and German, following your phone's language automatically, or set it by hand.
Set the shore, stay safe
Tell Breezie which way the sea lies and it flags offshore wind, the kind that quietly blows you out to sea. It never guesses.
Know before you go.

Who we are
Breezie ("we", "us") is an independent app operated by Pierre van Mever. Questions? hello@heybreezie.com.
No account, no tracking
Breezie has no sign-up or user account. We don't run ads, analytics or third-party trackers, and we don't build a profile of you.
Location and your spots
Breezie uses your location, or a place you search, only to fetch the forecast for that spot. Your saved spots and settings are stored on your device only. Breezie has no account and no cloud sync, so they stay on your device and we never receive a copy.
Forecast data
To show conditions, Breezie requests forecast data from Open-Meteo, an independent weather service. That request includes the coordinates of the spot you are viewing and, as with any internet request, your device's IP address. We do not send Open-Meteo your name or identity. Their handling of requests is governed by their own terms.
If you contact us
When you email us we receive your message and email address, used only to reply.
Your rights
Your information lives on your device, so you stay in control. Under the GDPR you also have rights of access, correction and erasure over any data we hold (in practice, emails you send us). Just contact us.
Children
Breezie is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be noted here or in the app.
